July 16, 2010 - Daytona Beach, FL to Myrtle Beach, SC

After 9 days in Florida, it's time to head towards home. Without any unregulated foliage, of course.

Thanks Georgia, but we're just passing through this time.

Firetrucks a plenty!!

Is this why they have so many firetrucks?

Hello Palmetto State.

Hmm...we wonder about their harvest...

If we saw a road for Peyton in Chattanooga, this must be for Eli.

Of course we had to stop at a Piggly Wiggly.

But we're still not interested in your boiled peanuts.

Hi Mike from SOS! Way to develop Southern children!
Yay!! Toddville!!

Hi sis.

Apparently I'm also a motor home dealer.

So much offered at this gas station.

Can we claim a 50" TV?

(C)Ross Dress for Less??

Hello Myrtle Beach, home of the Pelicans.

Beach traffic?

Oh, a beach chair section in the stands.

Finally, temperatures down in the 80's at game time.

Grace and Stump were at the game.

So was Mr. Johnson

There's that 42 again. And they retired a paw print too?

Bark in the park day again.

A dog even got to deliver baseballs to the umpire.

Apparently some segregation lives on in the south.

Sumo wrestling

A batter couldn't hold on to his bat, and it got stuck in the netting. The netting did a great job protecting the fans in the stands today!

We heard it was his favorite bat!

No kidding!

Stephanie now has a baseball card.

Fast oil changes, but slow in the concession line.

Stephanie and Lubie from Jiffy Lube.

We're getting thirsty again. Alas, more driving before the end of the trip.

Splash was having a blast at the game.

Time to build a big mac.

The Lynchburg Hillcats (A for the Reds) shut out the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (A for the Braves) 4-0 in a quick 2 hours 16 minutes.

Happy fans. At ballpark #1 of our next 100.

Stephanie's not allowed in here.

But we're happy these products are being reused for fun instead of sitting in landfills.

Who brought the beach to the ballpark?

We're moving on the North Carolina. Fast.
